Prayer Walk

One of the very exciting events for the Kindergarten through fifth grade students each year is our annual Prayer Walk. Its purpose is to encourage the students to pray for their community. The students have a great time as they learn about the specific prayer needs of the military, government leaders, the Red Cross workers, farmers, EMS, fire dept., police, etc. in our community. A student prays for those needs before the class moves on to the next station. The students can climb inside an ambulance, examine the fire trucks, and many other treats that day. They look forward to this event all year long.

Our wonderful Parent Teacher Fellowship organizes and runs this event for the K-5 students.

The Whitefield Prayer Walk is an ACSI Blue Ribbon winning event.
