High School

High school at Whitefield Academy encompasses grades 9-12. As a college preparatory program, the high school focuses on academic achievement and spiritual vitality. Students have the opportunity to engage subject material at multiple levels.

On one level, students are challenged academically. Strong Stanford Achievement Test scores and strong ACT scores are developed through a guided program of learning and achievement. Families appreciate the opportunity to meet with education professionals in a program called College Preparatory Review (or CPR). The average class size is 45 to 60 students. Graduate classes over the past five years have been between thirty and forty in size and have each achieved more than $3 million in offered scholarships.

On another level, students are challenged in their Christian walk. All students and families are encouraged to serve as active members of a Bible believing church. All teachers profess a strong faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and are dedicated to Christian education. Students are expected to engage in a vital relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. In the classroom, students at the upper levels have the opportunity to learn about apologetics as they prepare to enter the college arena.

Finally, students are also challenged physically. Over sixty percent of the student body is involved in athletics. Students are encouraged in life-long practices of health, nutrition and physical fitness. Such practices provide them a greater opportunity for ministry.
