Selecting a school to educate one's child is a serious responsibility. The student's own prospects and future of his offspring for generations to come may well be affected. While Whitefield Academy has a broad variety of programs that exist, there are certain admissions limitations:
- Philosophical limitations - Christian schools, by their very nature, represent a specific community of faith. Whitefield Academy provides Biblio-centric education. Whitefield Academy teachers have as their mission to inspire every student to become a mature follower of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is unwise to enroll students whose parents have no interest in the school's spiritual mission. It is expected that at least one of the child's parents give testimony to faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Whitefield Academy's Biblical role is to work in conjunction with the home to mold students to be Christ-like.
- Academic limitations - There are children whose academic needs or behavioral needs are such that their enrollment in Whitefield Academy could easily jeopardize the educational responsibility to the majority of our students. Furthermore, the academic programs at Whitefield Academy are not all encompassing. The school's academic program is college preparatory. There are certain students who would not benefit from the educational services offered at Whitefield Academy.
- Financial limitations - Whitefield Academy provides financial aid to a limited number of families. But economic reality and financial fairness require that the school's overall income from tuition is adequate to pay the school's staff a reasonable wage. Simply put, the school's income must equal or exceed the school's financial outflow.
